I went back again in 2023. It was the first time in 14 years. Japan is special to me as I lived there my junior year of college and studied the language and culture. It’s also where I had my first photography class. It’s also where I rediscovered my love of photography 14 years later, just prior to embracing the craft professionally.
The photos contained here are a hodge podge view of my 2023 trip. Some are made intentionally, practicing my craft while out and about on epic photo walks. Others, casually, with my cell phone while out touring or travelling. Can you tell the difference? Hint: most of the food is made with the cell phone, but one or two of the cell phone shots are pretty excellent, if I do say so myself. I do!
